The bulk of the hotel’s rooms are spacious and pleasant Deluxe Rooms, and all having a balcony that overlooks the Gulf of Eilat. These rooms are located on Floors 1-10. Based on prior arrangement, you can book some of these rooms that have connecting doors between them. Occupancy is for two adults and one child.

The hotel is centrally located on Eilat’s North Beach in the middle of a vibrant beach promenade shopping and entertainment area. The fact that the hotel occupies a large area and is set back from this area gives it an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The hotel is 5 minutes ride away from Eilat airport and 10 minutes from the Jordanian Aquaba border.

King City Theme Park – Built over a 3,700 sq.m area on three levels, it resembles a king’s palace. The four sections are ‘Journey to the Past’, ‘Cave of Illusions and Wisdom’, ‘Bible Cave’ and ‘King Solomon’s Water Ride’.

Restaurants and Dining

One of the delights at Herods Palace is being able to visit different restaurants without leaving the hotel complex. Everything is available to you ‘on the doorstep’: ‘Birdwatchers’:Enjoy your buffet-style breakfasts and dinners here, where many kinds of international cuisine are offered. Evening meals include colorful vegetable and salad bars and a wide selection of meat and vegetarian dishes. There’s also a special range of children’s dishes. Some food is prepared in front of you. Entry to the first seating is from 6.30 to 7pm and for the second seating from 8.30 to 9:00 pm. ‘Tamarind’:You can also eat breakfast in this elegant restaurant, where an extensive selection of dishes are served buffet-style and prepared while you watch. It’s open between 8.30 and 10.30 am and is also available for private and family functions.  ‘Four Winds’:You’ll find this dairy restaurant and bar in the Hotel’s lobby. With its lush vegetation and ornamental fishponds on the terrace, it has a great atmosphere. There’s a rich selection of hot and cold dairy and vegetarian dishes. The bar is open between 10am and midnight, while food is served between 11am and 11pm. ‘Ha’Mitbach’ Restaurant (‘The Kitchen’ in Hebrew):This is located in ‘the Cardo’, Herod’s shopping complex on the Eilat Promenade. Cuisine is Mediterranean ‘fusion’ that combines modern cuisine with the special aromas and tastes of the Middle East. An open-style kitchen allows you to see food being prepared. If you are on half board you can enjoy an evening meal here for an additional payment. Gazebo Snack Bar:This is a great place for lunch around the pool. It has a rich choice of Israeli-style grilled meats and hot fast-food dishes, including shwarma, fries, chicken nuggets, hotdogs, falafel, and salads and a drinks bar. The bar is open from 10am, while meals are available from 12.30 to 5pm (until 6pm in July and August). Shake It Juice Bar:The Tropical bar in the pool area offers you health salads, exotic fruit shakes, milk shakes, ice creams and popsicles, frozen fruit juice, smoothies and a wide range of fresh fruit in season.

Swimming Pools

Herods Palace has one of the largest and most impressive swimming pools in Eilat. Garlanded by palm trees, fountains and statues and well supplied with lounger beds, it’s the place where you’ll enjoy relaxing every day. There’s also a children’s pool with shading against the strong sun.

Fitness and Spa

The Gladiator gym is outfitted with the latest ‘TechnoGym’ fitness equipment, complete with personal TV screens for each exercise station. It is available without charge to all Herods guests. In the Herods Vitalis Hotel alongside is one of Eilat’s most invested Spas. It offers 60 different kinds of beauty and therapy treatment and has an impressive range of facilities. The entry fee for Herods Palace guests is 180 shekels per person.

Events and Conferences

The Laurence Conference Room measures 220 sq. m and accommodates 200 guests in theater style and 140 guests in dinner style. The room has a raised stage, making it ideal for corporate events and presentations. It can also be sub-divided into four seminar rooms.

Business Lounge

The Sky Business Lounge is located on the 11th Floor, offering you a fantastic view over the entire Eilat skyline. It is superbly equipped with every facility you’ll need to conduct efficient business meetings: 2 computers, Internet connection, fax machines and copiers, a private boardroom for up to 8 people (advance booking required). Children’s entertainment

The hotel runs a special ‘Princes’ Club’ to entertain children and youngsters up to 14. Equipped with Playstations and other computer game consoles, it’s the natural focus for daytime and evening activities. There are play sessions, creative circles, cooking and baking classes. In the evening, kids will enjoy entertainment such as a circus, dog show, kids talent contest, pyjama party and more. The Club is open from 10am to 5pm, with evening events at 8.15 pm.

Adult entertainment

Herods Palace in Eilat has a reputation for the quality of its adult entertainment. There are musical shows, cabarets, entertainment teams, bingo and fun games. Specially invited singers and stand-up comedians are regularly invited to appear in the Officers Bar near the Lobby. In addition, as a Fattal guest you are entitled to free entry at the Fattal private beach – the Dekel Beach – where famous artists appear during the summer.
